Friendship Group is a group for adults with developmental challenges who eagerly want to learn about their God. A typical evening starts off with a time of singing. We have a time of prayer (very important to our friends) where everyone shares their concerns and thanksgivings. The leader does a review, tells the Bible story, and questions are asked. Helpers and friends review the lesson once again with a handout. Refreshments are served next. One friend with their helper goes around with the collection for those would like to participate. The money goes to a worthy cause. We finish the evening standing in a circle, holding hands, closing with prayer and singing "Shalom my Friend".
